Carter had a great day feeding. He drank 33 mL of his 9 a.m. bottle, finished his noon bottle, finished his 3 p.m. bottle and for the first time finished a third in a row at his 6 p.m. bottle. He did all of this in lieu of the fact that they increased his feeds to 55 mL from 53 mL. Two mL's doesn't seem like much but for him it can be a challenge. In addition to a picture tonight I included a link to one of his feeds so you all can see the techniques that we have to use when feeding him so that he can catch up with his breathing and the importance of pacing him. You can see him head bobbing to catch his breath in between every two to three sucks. He is doing a lot better the past couple of days in his recovery.
