Carter's sodium level is starting to come back up with the additional sodium that they have placed in his IV fluids. He is still a little puffy in his hands and feet but they are not too worried about it. His respiratory status did well today. He seems to be doing well with the added PEEP (postive end expiratory pressure). He will have some labs rechecked in the morning. I promised you all a picture so here it is. Matt and Katie, Derrick and I are watching and praying from a distance and reading about Carters progress. We totally trust that God will see you all through this! As you, we are counting the days when you can bring your beautiful baby boy home and have him in your loving arms. Cousin Susan is watching also. We are so grateful for the new addition to our family.
